Upton Close is a cul-de-sac, and despite being very central is a quiet residential road situated off Woodbridge Road. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the town centre and a 2 minute walk to many main bus routes, including the 66 bus route to Kesgrave/Martlesham/BT. The house has a total of six double bedrooms ranging from £375 – £550 per month, depending on size and if the room has a private bathroom. Each room is fully furnished with a double bed and clothes storage and has a TV point, wireless internet throughout the house and a lock on each bedroom door for privacy. There are two double rooms with ensuites fof £550 and one double room with an ‘off suite’ (detached private bathroom next door to the bedroom) on the first floor and three double rooms (£375, £390 and £450) and a shower room room on the second floor. These three double rooms all share the shower room.
The house has a communal kitchen/diner (equipped with a table to seat six, two fridge freezers, oven, hob, washing machine, separate tumble dryer, microwave, kettle and toaster), and lounge area with sofas/seating area with a large TV.
Situated in east Ipswich, in one of the most sought after areas in which to live, there are direct buses to BT Adastral Park and the hospital. There is off-road parking for one car and this is allocated to a specific tenant on a first come, first served basis for an additional charge of £30 per month. There is also unrestricted parking on Alexandra Road which is opposite the house. A single yellow line outside the front of the house means you can park there after 6pm and before 8am Monday – Saturday and all day on Sundays.

If it is not possible for you to attend a viewing and meet us in person, then we would require a video call with you, in place of a face to face meeting, in which we would talk you through the application process to ensure you are happy and able to fulfil our application criteria.
Please be aware that we require a holding fee one week’s rent to secure the room whilst we take you through the application process. Our application process includes references, checking ID and share codes if you are not a UK resident. Once the application process is complete, we will then require a full month’s rent as a deposit, minus the one week’s holding fee you have already paid. These deposit details will then be entered into the ‘Mydeposits’ scheme and you will be issued with a certificate as proof of this protection. The day that you move into the property we will require another month’s rent for the month ahead. To help your budgeting, basically we require a payment of two months’ rent (broken down in the three stages as described above) before we can let you move in.
