LEA Property Solutions was founded by Lucy Lea in 2004 after a frustrating search for somewhere to live following the start of her first graduate job in Ipswich.
At the time, finding professional shared accommodation felt far harder than it should have been. The properties available were often tired, poorly presented and lacked any sense of community. Lucy simply wanted somewhere clean, well-maintained and welcoming, with people of a similar age and outlook. Matching furniture, a good atmosphere and a place that genuinely felt like home didn't seem like too much to ask.
After repeatedly coming up short, she had a thought: surely this isn't that difficult? So she created her own professional house share.
The response was immediate. Enquiries flooded in from other young professionals looking for exactly the same thing. It quickly became clear that there was a gap in the market and that many people were searching for a better house-sharing experience than what was being offered at the time.
We've spent more than two decades proving that house sharing doesn't have to mean compromising on quality, communication or service. We believe that tenants deserve somewhere they are proud to call home, and landlords deserve a management company they can trust completely.
Today, we specialise in shared housing and remain passionate about raising standards across the sector. From beautifully maintained homes and carefully matched housemates to expert property management and industry-leading compliance, everything we do is built around creating positive experiences for both tenants and landlords.
More than 20 years later, our mission remains exactly the same as it was in 2004: to create the kind of shared living experience that Lucy was searching for all those years ago - a place that feels like home, not just somewhere to sleep.
