This beautiful detached country house was renovated in January 2016 and is in a rural location in a village called Witnesham, only a 7 minute drive from Ipswich town centre. It is a very spacious property with 6 bedrooms, some offering field views, hence the name! The house is well equipped with all the usual amenities for your comfort. This stunning property offers four fully furnished and two unfurnished bedrooms, an upstairs bathroom with jacuzzi and separate shower, an upstairs shower room and one toilet/cloakroom downstairs. The current tenants are all working professionals and have really made this their home, creating a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Both the bathrooms have large free-standing showers. The bedrooms at the back of the house (bedrooms 3, 4 and 5) have fabulous field views with bedroom 4 having a Juliet balcony. Room rates range from £510 – £580 per month, depending on size, and all rooms have a lock on the bedroom door, TV point and wireless BT internet which is throughout the house.

The room rates include ALL utility bills, wireless internet and cleaner. Our cleaner spends two hours a week at the house cleaning all the communal areas but not any of the bedrooms as this is the tenants’ responsibility. The property has communal areas that consist of a fully equipped kitchen with dining area to accommodate 8 people and a designated lounge and sofa area with TV. There is a utility/laundry room that houses two washing machines and a separate tumble dryer as well as a storage cupboard for a hoover/mop/brush/dustpan and brush.

The house is located on the main street in Witnesham (IP6 9EW) with off-road parking for seven cars, three at the front of the house and four at the rear. The house is at the other end of the village if you are travelling from Ipswich and is a short walk to the popular Moon and Mushroom pub in Swilland. It is also a 5 minute drive from Westerfield railway station which provides links to London. A bus stop is on the opposite side of the road where you can catch buses to Ipswich and Framlingham.

If it is not possible for you to attend a viewing and meet us in person, then we would require a video call with you, in place of a face to face meeting, in which we would talk you through the application process to ensure you are happy and able to fulfil our application criteria.
Please be aware that we require a holding fee one week’s rent to secure the room whilst we take you through the application process. Our application process includes references, checking ID and share codes if you are not a UK resident. Once the application process is complete, we will then require a full month’s rent as a deposit, minus the one week’s holding fee you have already paid. These deposit details will then be entered into the ‘Mydeposits’ scheme and you will be issued with a certificate as proof of this protection. The day that you move into the property we will require another month’s rent for the month ahead. ​To help your budgeting, basically we require a payment of two months’ rent (broken down in the three stages as described above) before we can let you move in.
