I moved into my room yesterday, and I met the lovely Laura from LEA. She talked through rent contract, and where to access more information on COHO regarding the welcome pack, rent payment dates, and where to report any issues. I felt welcomed to ask any questions.
There was an issue with heating in the house, and Laura kindly got us electric heaters to keep us warm in the meantime and called for a plumber to come the next day to fix the heating.
My room (including ensuit bathroom) was cleaned recently so I arrived to a clean space. There are some scuff marks on the walls and stains on the carpet – Laura instructed me to take pictures of this and upload it to COHO to ensure this gets recorded and I am not held accountable for these stains.
Overall, I have settled well in my new room and am feeling comfortable.
